Steven Pierce, 61, of Marion, Indiana, died at 10:33 AM, on Monday, June 13, 2022, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. He entered this world on August 27, 1960, in Marion, born to Verlin and Catherine (Carl) Pierce. Steve married Candy Hix on May 11, 2018.

He graduated from Madison-Grant High School in 1978. Steve was a quiet, sweet,and genuine, teddy bear of a guy who loved everyone, was a mama's boy with a heart of gold. Steve was a workhorse who never met a stranger and was always prepared with a list of dad jokes. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, doing car repairs and sitting on his porch swing enjoying nature.

Steve is survived by his wife, Candy; mother, Catherine; seven children, Brady Pierce, of Pensacola, Florida, Steve Hedrick, of Fairmount, Kortney (Jonathan) Gladd, of Bloomington, Illinois, Bryana (Luke) Turner, and Jenni (Matt) Brown, both of Van Buren, Indiana, Tabitha (Nate) DeLong, of Marion; 15 grandchildren; two siblings, Darren (Lori) Pierce and Patricia (Randy) Tomlin, both of Fairmount. He was preceded in death by father; and son, Trent Pierce.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Fairmount Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 South Main Street, Fairmount, IN, where a private memorial service will be held.
