There has never been a better person than Steve Pierce. Having known Steve since he and I both could walk and talk, his calmness and quiet confidence were among the many traits I would aspire over the following decades to emulate, yet never achieve. Steve was, like his father Verlin, sweet, kind, humble, and there to help you with anything, no matter the situation.
I had the pleasure of knowing this man for only a brief few years while working for the same company. He was always able to make me smile or laugh and I loved his passion for what he did. We nerded out on several occasions over historical printing and many other shared interests.
Steve always had a kind word and a smile and in the short 3 years I had known him, he never had an unkind word for anyone.
I miss Steve, and I hope he found peace. I wish his family and those who love him solace and comfort in times like this that just really suck. It's hard losing those we love. Peace and hope to his family.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this sad time.
STEVE was a gentle kind giving person.. rest in peace.
Rest in peace, Steve. You will be missed. Love and prayers for Aunt Kate and his loved ones.
